30–40 minutes. We discover what's wrong, and whether we can help.

- Digital posture pictures. Together with your online questionnaire, they give your chiropractor a baseline.
- Your health history, including past accidents and injuries.
- A thorough chiropractic, orthopaedic and neurological check, to find which spinal segments aren't moving or being controlled well. Foot scans too, if you need them.
- If your check points to it, a referral for standing spinal X-rays.

No. You can book straight in. If you'd like to use a Medicare care plan or DVA, your GP sets that up.

Can I claim on my health fund?
Yes. If your extras cover includes chiropractic, claim on the spot with HICAPS and just pay the gap.

Will I be adjusted on my first visit?
Maybe, maybe not. That's up to the clinical judgement of your chiropractor. Many people arrive with problems they've had for a long time, and those often need more thorough testing first. We always do a proper job before we start, so in many cases we refer for further tests, including X-rays. That can mean your first adjustment comes at your report of findings appointment.
