How we work with WorkSafe and the TAC
You're our practice member.
Not a claim number.
You can come to us with a WorkSafe or TAC claim. We just don't bill WorkSafe or the TAC for you. You pay us on the day, the same as everyone else, and claim it back from your scheme.

We're not a bank, a lender or a law firm. We're here to give you first-class chiropractic care, and a receipt you can claim.

Five steps to get your chiropractic care covered. You'll need a referral from your GP.
- Tell your employer in writing, as soon as you can. You have 30 days from the injury.
- See your GP. They'll assess you and refer you for chiropractic care. If you need time off work, they'll give you a certificate of capacity.
- Lodge your claim. Fill in the Worker's Injury Claim Form, online or on paper, sign it and give it to your employer.
- Your claim is assessed. WorkSafe's agent has up to 28 days to decide, and gives you a claim number.
- Book with us, then claim it back. Bring your GP referral. You pay us on the day, and send your receipts to WorkSafe's agent to be reimbursed.
Once your claim is accepted, WorkSafe's agent reimburses reasonable treatment costs. Questions about your claim? Call the WorkSafe Advisory Service on 1800 136 089.
Transport Accident Commission
Hurt on the road.
For injuries from a car, motorbike, bike or public transport accident in Victoria. No referral needed.
- Report the accident to police. The TAC needs the police report, or the officer's details. Not needed for public transport accidents.
- Lodge your TAC claim online, or call the TAC on 1300 654 329 (Mon–Fri, 8:30am–5pm). You have 12 months from the accident.
- Get your claim number. The TAC usually decides on a claim within 21 days.
- Book with us, then claim it back. You pay us on the day. Upload the receipt in myTAC under "Claim reimbursement".
The first 90 days of chiropractic care for your accident injuries don't need TAC approval. After that, ask your TAC claims manager to approve ongoing care. The TAC reimburses at its own set rates, which may not cover the full fee.
