Somerville chiropractor care: where we can help
Common reasons people book with us:
- Back pain, from a sudden twinge to a long-running ache.
- A pinched nerve, with pain, pins and needles or numbness travelling into an arm or leg.
- Neck pain that makes turning your head a chore.
- Hip pain that's changing the way you move.
We use hands-on chiropractic adjustments, a flexion-distraction table for low back and disc problems, and home exercise advice. Which of these suits you depends on what we find.
Your new patient appointment
The first visit is a new patient appointment of 30–40 minutes. We cover your story, posture pictures, and a thorough chiropractic, orthopaedic and neurological check of your spine, joints and nerves.
Whether you're adjusted on that first visit is up to the clinical judgement of your chiropractor. Often more testing comes first. If your history and check point to X-rays, we'll refer you, and the imaging clinic we use bulk bills X-rays our chiropractors request.
Your second visit is the report of findings appointment ($95). You get answers, in plain English: what we found and what we'd do.
Book the new patient appointment online through this website and it's $125 instead of $195. That's for new practice members only, one per person.
