Dr Ryan Tan is a chiropractor at Mornington Peninsula Chiropractic. He trained at RMIT University and has a particular interest in posture and spinal rehabilitation. Originally from Singapore, Ryan speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese, so you can talk through your care in the language you're most comfortable with.

About Dr Ryan Tan

Ryan came to chiropractic through an interest in how the body moves, functions and performs. Seeing how poor posture and lingering injuries can affect the way people move every day gave him a clear sense of purpose: helping people move better and feel better.

He graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic).

Ryan's interest in posture and spinal rehabilitation

Ryan has a particular focus on posture and spinal rehabilitation. In practice that means looking at how your spine moves as a whole, not just where it hurts, and giving you exercises and advice you can carry on with at home.

Like every chiropractor at MPCC, Ryan starts with a thorough new patient appointment: your story, posture pictures, and a chiropractic, orthopaedic and neurological check of your spine, joints and nerves. At your report of findings appointment, he explains what he found in plain English and what he'd suggest. Care may include hands-on adjustments, flexion-distraction and home exercises.

A chiropractor who speaks Mandarin and Cantonese

Originally from Singapore, Ryan speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese. If you or a family member would rather explain what's going on in Mandarin or Cantonese, let us know when you book and we'll put you with Ryan.

Outside the clinic

Ryan likes to stay active. He enjoys training, exploring new places, travel and time in nature, and values time with family and close friends.
